Creating Lag In The Downswing

Looking for more distance?

In golf terms, ‘Lag’ means the late release of the hands on the downswing to generate more power.

You can create increased lag in the downswing by maintaining the wrist hinge for longer before releasing into a flat left wrist position at impact.

The later you can leave the release of the wrist hinge, the more power you can generate  into the ball.
